 This is a very easy kit to build. There are not that many pieces to snap together. You could just put it together using the included stickers and it would probably look just fine. I however like to go beyond this with the application of paint and the use of a Gundam marker. I did use some of the stickers (particularly the one on the helmet) because I'm not that good of a painter. If you check out the pictures I've provided you will see that I purchased two of these and I painted one of them black. I just used a little flat black spray paint. I like the way they both turned out and now I want to buy two more to make my army even bigger. I will paint one brown (darker than the tan color it already is) and the other a light grey I think.
But anyways this is a kit worth the price in my view and the only negative thing I could say is that one of the feet on one of my little guys likes to fall off sometimes but it is no deal breaker. So I would recommend it.

UPDATE: Well as you can see in the video I did get two more and painted them like I said.

I got this guy as a foot soldier for a display. There's nothing wrong with it but he's not very articulate, the colors are bland, and he just stands on the back of the horse rather than actually rides it. Which means he falls off of it really easily. The colors shown on the box are not all the plastic colors; you need to paint at least the details to get it to look halfway like shown, and you do not get the flag. You have to print it out & make it yourself. It wasn't expensive so I didn't expect too much, it's not a deluxe model or anything, I just thought it'd be a little more articulated. It is not posable at all.
