それほどにカッコよく、ハードコア主体ながらサウンドが特徴的で中だるみゼロで聴くことができる傑作。
1stアルバムでこれほどの出来のアルバムを作ってしまったのは、今後彼らの枷になるのか否か・・・ってトコですね。

まず、サウンドはシンプルに見せかけ、かなり複雑でテクニカル。
盛り上がるところはシンプルに盛り上がらせるパートがあるのですが、ロックンロール的でかさついたギターサウンドとそれに絡むキーボードは凡百バンドとはレベルが違います。
また、楽器隊が妙にテクニカルでレベルが高いと思っていたのですが、それもそのはず。ベースやドラムを教授したのが同じ英国のSikThのベーシストなんですから。テクニカルにならないほうがおかしい。笑
ヴォーカルは割と高音のハードコアヴォイスで、聴いてて悲痛な感じすらあります。ただ、血でも吐き出しそうなほど熱く滾っています。お世辞にも上手いとは言いませんが、このバンドにはこのヴォーカルが何よりも最高に合っているというのは聴けば実感できるはず。ピストルズの再来と言われるだけあって、たまにジョニー・ロットン的な歌い方をするところもあるので面白いです。
雑誌とかで「〜の未来」とか言われるバンドは後々勢いがなくなって、所詮ハイプハイプと見なされがちですが、このバンドのこのアルバムは聴けば高い評価を受けるだけの高い質を持っています。

オススメは勢いが半端じゃない＃1、メロディックパンク的な＃3、サウンドが印象的な＃9などなど。
またこのアルバムはボーナストラックエディションVer.なので、国内盤と同じく4曲とも入っています。（ウチ＃15のNervous Breakdownの後数分のブランクがあってStaring At The Rude Boisが始まります

来た！来たねコレ！初期ピストルズを思わせる疾走感がたまらない！イギリス派なんで余計そう思うね。ゴチャゴチャした感じが半ば雑音っぽいんだけど疼く！デザインもカッコイイ。パンクの継承者は何処行ったー！！と思ってる人はゼヒ聴いて！でも嫌いな人は嫌いかもしんない。余談だけどヴォーカルのフランクはシドみてーな流血ライブするくせに酒は少々、薬はやらない、お母さん大好きな人。共通すんのはお母さんくらいか。イギリスのメディアはつまらん男と言ってるらしいが最高じゃねーかァ！！と個人的理由で星５つ(笑)

Eine wirklich gute Hardcore Platte, wobei die Gitarren und die Musik von Gallows schon eher in die Rock Richtung gehen. Kein Geschnörksel, ohne Umschweife direkt in die Kauleiste. Gallows ist definitiv eine meiner Lieblingsbands, man könnte sagen, der (damalige) Sänger Frank Carter vermittelt Frust, Enttäuschung und Wut in Musikform. Ich kenne fast keine andere Band, die das in der Form SO drauf hat. Letztens hab ich die Band übrigens mit dem neuen Sänger (ehem. Alexisonfire, glaub ich) LIVE gesehen. War genauso ein Brett.

I don't normally listen to shouty hardcore music, I quite like the more intellegent socialy responsible end of the punk spectrum, it turns out I have something in my DNA that makes me want to test the structural stability of my house and the patience of my neighbors playing the incredible Gallows album F****** loud, It's a bit scary but it's also realy genuine and positive. If you want another reason to respect Gallows other than this great album watch their videos on youtube and myspace or if you can take the exitement see them live (I'll probably be in bed). I think this band are going to be BIG and that's because they have worked hard and are focused on what they do. Consequently this album is F**(sorry it's infectious)Great and deserves a big five stars plus another five for the extra disc which unlike most bands bonus material is equally brilliant and definately essential for your neighbors enjoyment

I love Orchestra Of Wolves!! I'm a middle-aged woman and I love the boundless energy. I love the fact that these guys are from Watford and in true punk tradition the sheer boredom of growing up in a small place is translated to produce a entire CD that puts fire in your belly. Not name dropping but I met Frank and he kindly said he'd put me on the guest list for a show if I went back to see him nearer the time. Oh how I regret that i didn't go back or see the show because he left the band shortly afterwards. I'm an idiot . But what a bloody nice guy !!!!! Abandon Ship is is my favourite track.......In the belly of the shark is great!! But love all the tracks.
