Lemme say for starters that this game's dialogue has ENGLISH voiceover, so there isn't a reason to pass it up other than if you don't have a way to play imports (get an Action Replay).
Willy wombat is a 3d platformer/ adventure game made by Hudson, and you can tell by how it plays. Willy's goals throughout the stages are to collect gems, keys, power balls, and of course survive the enemies and puzzles. You have 3 main buttons, one for jumping, slashing, and throwing your sword long-distance boomerang-style. The art style of this game is very anime-oriented, as are most japanese games. Since it's Hudson though, there's that extra child-friendly charm you can associate with them. The games replay value is quite high since each level can be played infinitely, and you get more tokens depending on the gem count at the end of the level. These tokens are then used to save the game, so your incentive to keep playing is higher (3 tokens per save, which happens to be the max attainable per level). The difficulty has a very smooth curve that keeps this game accessible for just about everyone. A very fun game that any import collector would be glad to have on their shelf
Came brand new still in shrink wrap. Fun game! should have been released in the U.S. I'd recommend picking this one up if you have a system capable of playing it!
