love the remaster and to have it as a true cd album. simply the best. the extra tracks was super. buy it if you like heavier grunge, alternative, rock style!
Tad is the perfect blend to my ears. Grunge and Heavy Metal combined is what best describes Tad, and I love it! 8-Way Santa is near perfect form of "Heavyness" and Grunge and it flat out kicks butt! 8-Way Santa isn't for sissys or hippies, this is for big burly bearded guys and lumber jacks! Seriously, if your a fan of Grunge or Heavy Metal, or both, you have to listen to 8-Way Santa, you'll thank me! [...]
The original cover for this 12" album was a cheeky, colour altered (found picture) of a man innocently touching a woman's clothed breast whilst she laughed. The guy in the picture eventually realised his own face on the album and sued TAD, he had become a born again Christian - Not Tad Doyle - the guy that sued him ! This caused the change in cover art over the years.
There is also a song on this album that was originally called "Jack Pepsi" about Tad and his friend messing about in a 4x4 on ice and eventually going through the ice - "help me Jack Pepsi" Pepsi didn't like this at all and sued - so the song is now called "Jack"
Track 11 "3D Witch Hunt" is a forgotten classic that should get a lot more attention !
If you look online, this was apparently the 2nd/ 3rd/4th album by TAD - no one seems to know. The album flows and never becomes boring and has been remastered since the original.
The CD sounds way better than the old vinyl copy I had.
