My daughters ( 7yo and 5yo) loved the story. We even gifted the book to the school and the 1st graders found the owlies adorable and the story fun. So would highly recommend!

I bought this book for my daughter as she is a young reader. She loves the easy to read format and that it is presented like it is the owl's actual diary. It does not feel like she is reading a book and that is helpful right now. The pages are bright and colourful and she can sound out most of the words, although not all because they are not actual words (words like owlementary instead of elementary). She was engaged in it and was asking for us to read more of it tonight, so this is a good sign. She was looking in the back and saw there were more books in the series and asked if we could get those too.
As a parent, I am happy with the book too. It is piquing her interest and that is half the battle. Would recommend.
