上品で造りも良くさすがにSEIKO、普通に良い！
これは少し畏まった時に使用している。
普段は電波時計、止まらない正確さに慣れてしまっており機械式の「ズレ」は覚悟していたが全然問題ない。
「自動巻き」は良く巻いてくれます。
当たり前だが、土日など2日ほど放置していると止まっている。
毎度、日付を変更するときにやり方を思い出し「なるほど」と取り扱ってます。
偶然にも友人が同じ時計を使っており「ダブった・・・」

シンプルで品のあるデザインが非常に良いです。ただ少し思っていたよりも厚みがある為、かなり重いです。もう少し薄くて軽ければさらによかったのですが。それと、自動巻きではありますが、しばらく身に着けていない際にフル状態まで手動でネジを巻いて、駆動時間が４８時間というのが、もう少し長ければ文句なしかと思います。

ＳＡＲＷ011発売と同時に30％offで入手できました、レトロな佇まいと青針で良い雰囲気です、日付表示は省略しすぎで読みにくいです。パワーリザーブがとても便利です、腕に付けていれば普通の動きでフル巻き上げになります、ケースは意外に厚くてボッテリ感が少々気に入りません。精度は日差−11〜13秒です、これは公表誤差−１５秒には入りますが、新品の機械にしてはちょっと調整がお粗末の感じです。１か月ほど実働させたうえでダメなら調整に出すつもりです、８振動のハイビートが泣いています、ＳＥＩＫＯのウオッチはおおむね進み気味に調整されているのが一般的ですが最初からマイナスは初めてです。

パッと見は、「何故この時計が（定価）１０万もするのか」と疑ってしまうような、非常にシンプルな外見をしています。
しかし、この時計は手にとって見て、初めて分かる美しさがあるのです。
(この時計の"ウリ"である）ほうろうダイヤルの美しさは勿論の事、ドーム状に加工されたサファイアガラスの風防、実は深い紺色の針。
ずっと眺めていても飽きのこない時計になっています。

ただ、一つ難点を言えば・・
革ベルト＆シンプルフェイスという見た目のせいで、あまりカジュアルな場面には向かないのかな、と・・
カジュアルな日常使いをするのであれば、メタルベルトか、白や青の（クロコダイルの）革ベルトなんかに付け替えるといいのかもしれないですね。
スーツ着用のサラリーマンの方にお勧めの時計です。

sarw035の黒ベルトよりもsarw011の紺ベルトが良いと思い購入。
やはりこの時計は紺ベルトが良いですね。
厚手ではありますが素晴らしい時計だと思います。

This is a gift and the pictures do not do it justice nor can they give a sense of its quality. I have owned the SARB065 "Cocktail" watch for a couple of years which is my favorite watch to wear. I had to change the band out for a blue stingray because the one that came with it was kind of cheapened the watch. The difference between the two, aside from style, is that the Presage is in another league of quality. First the ceramic face is specially developed and overseen by master ceramicist Mitsuru Yokozawa. It is a very complex and finely tuned process of a precise ceramic glass composite ratio that is fired in a kiln on a metal substrate-Seiko's in-house Grand Feu. From what I understand that is found only in watches many thousands more in price. It takes great skill and experience to produce a flawless surface with no pin holes, bubbles, or cracks. From what I see, it is flawless with a nice gracefully smooth quality surface that contrasts nicely with the inky black indicators. It will retain it's color for another 100 years. The watch face is inspired by their first pocket watch from 1895 the "Time Keeper." The indicators are painted no less than 10 times. Leave it to Seiko to place importance on craftsmanship. While I love the radial brilliance of the SARB065, the fine quality of the Presage watch face is a beautifully timeless Seiko tradition. The blue hands give it just the right accent as to keep it from not being bland but not overstating itself, with the second hand have a very smooth sweep at 28.8 with a crescent moon accent. The sapphire crystal is curved, but optically corrected to eliminate distortion except at extreme angles with almost no glare due to an interior coating inside the crystal surface.

The case back is sapphire crystal and reveals the 6R27 caliber movement with 29 Jewels, 28,800, 4 hz, with a date complication and power reserve indicator. From what I read, it's not a luxury caliber, but it is one of their better ones that will last.

The strap is a crocodile deep blue leather that is a bit too shiny and stiff for the person's tastes, but it softened pretty quickly in about a week. I gave it a quick buff with ultra fine steel wool, and I got the right patina. They pair quite well together.

It is a watch that you wear to feel great and finish off a nice ensemble to go to the symphony or even just to work. It's a great watch and a testament to the Seiko's enduring commitment to excellence and tradition.

This is one of the best Seiko JDMs I've ever owned. Compared to my any other Seiko JDMs such as SARB033, 035, 065 and three different colored Sumos, this timepiece easily becomes one of my favorites. It comes with 6R27 (+25/-15 sec per day) movement running at 28,800bph, which is ticking noticeably smoother compared to 6R15 movement with the same accuracy specification. Mine is running only 3 sec after every 24 hours, so I wouldn't complaint about it in this category. It also has a power reserve complication added so that I would say this movement is a bit upgraded from 6R15 movement and it's worth spending some bucks more. The enamelled dial is beautifully crafted by only one Japanese enamel craftman named Mr Yokozawa Mitsuru and it just looks gorgeous at this price point. Amongst my Omega and Rolex watch collection like speedmaster and sub-c, for example, I still have aesthetic feel of this timepiece as it offers a great deal of quality and craftmanship with 5-10 times less in its price tag. I could say you won't regret to have this timepiece in your collection unless you are expecting to see its classy, stylish package. Overall, in a watch collector's perspective, this is a piece of art offered by Seiko.

Update on Sep 2, 2016: One thing I didn't mention in my review is its case thickness and size. I personally believe most people, who are specially seeking for a mechanical, dress watch, need some slimness of it. This watch thickness is 13.3mm, which is approximately the same as SARB065, but I feel it is quite bulkier and heavier on my wrist and couldn't be worn as comfortably as SARB65 in some situation. If you need a very slim, light mechanical dress watch, you might need to look at other models like SARX019.

Thank You Needs. My lovely new watch arrived very promptly and well packaged.
I am a qualified and practicing watchmaker and bought this for my 60th birthday present, very impressed! The genuine enamel dial, elegant seconds hand and the overall traditional look with modern technology is a winner for me. With a superb stainless steel case, sapphire glass, enamel dial and legendary 29 jewel Seiko movement I'm sure this baby will be looking good and going strong in a hundred years. Well done!
