Good way to to view the first 6 series of this iconic US police procedural drama without ads.

Ideal way to see the whole lot up to date in the UK as they (C5) mess about with the viewing schedules on freeview. Cheaper at this price than watching on any of the online streamed box set options and saves your data allowance. 6 series at 24 x 40 min episodes giving a total of around 95 hrs of viewing. Also there are some features that provide interesting background to the filming included on a number of the discs.
For those not so familiar with the NCIS:LA variant of this police procedural drama from the USA, the characters have some similarities and parallels with the long running NCIS but is distinct enough to be viable as a seperate entity. You can get the rest as well as any spoilers if you want from the usual online sites.....
It's worth watching in chronological sequence as it has multi threaded themes that span the whole 6/7 series so far along with mini themes within series.
On a purely practical note, the discs come 6 in a case in a very tight fitting cardboard sleeve. Simple box set, no frills outside just plenty of thrills inside and no waiting the best part if a year for the end of series cliffhanger to come around.........
At the time of writing series 7 has only just finished airing in the US & soon to do so in the UK.

So far we've watched seasons 1,2 & 3 & have had no problems with any of the discs. Totally hooked, addictive watching while the original NCIS is between seasons.

UPDATE: We've watched all episodes on all discs in all seasons, including the special features & everything was working as it should!

It took time to get used to the 'all action' format, but, as with NCIS, I grew to like the cast, and that was the deciding factor. Sadly, assuming Season 7 isn't taken off the air it may prove to be the last as its' producers are failing to hit the 'target demographic'. 30 Rock was taken off mid-season, and I for one wasn't happy about that.
