ごぞんじ、金太郎の英語版絵本です。
森の中のどの動物よりも強い金太郎が鬼退治に出かけるという話です。
一度は読んだことがあるストーリーだと思いますのですらすらと読んでいけると思います。

I sm taking Japanese as a senior citizen and wanted something fun to try my Japanese. This book and the others in the series are fun in English and Hiragana. The pictures are beautiful and I am having lots of fun. My daughter is living in Japan and her Japanese American wives club get together each week to read a story in English and the same story then in Japanese to their children.. These books are great for that. It is fun to see how the Japanese is expressed differently then the English. Great fun for someone trying to learn Japanese. Be aware the English is not a direct translation of the Japanese as the English is written as a prose to rhyme.
