Handmade, wearable art is an enduring and endearing fashion expression of school-aged youth. From headbands and string bracelets to duct-tape bags and knotted scarves and hats, all manner of original designs and functionality sweep through the schoolyard year to year.

This season, the big thing is the "crazy loom," a pegged board on which small bands can be attached to create a variety of colorful rubber-linked bracelets and necklaces. Give into this craze and purchase this item for your child or family. Not only will they learn to follow pretty intense directions, they are rewarded for doing so with an intricate and beautiful design. The loom builds a positive feedback loop into their efforts as they share experiences and product samples with their family and peers (right now, I'm wearing two of the dozen or so bands my kids made me).

You know a craft is something special when both 3rd-grade boys and 5th-grade girls are coming together on the playground to swap ideas, compare styles and trade bands. Comme tous on est tombé dans la fièvre des bracelets élastiques , très bon produit ma fille utilisé avec passion et laisse libre à son imagination .... Le petit plus le petit bol supplémentaire afin de pouvoir faire de simple création qui peut être emmener partout ( facile à transporter pour en fait dans la voiture ou pour aller en w-end ) . Le moins la notice est en anglais mais qui ne reste pas un obstacle pour les enfants pour réaliser les bracelets

My 2 girls havbe been looming non stop since getting these a month ago. I have lost track of how many refill packs I have purchased. These cra-z-looms are much better than cheaper looms. The cra-z-looms are longer, and each peg is numbered, so you can follow patterns easier. I bought some cheaper looms too, but the bracelets on cheaper looms end up being too short to wear. The quality of the looming bands that come with the cra-z-loom are much nicer than some cheaper bands too. This is the current rage in both of my childrens schools, and I am really happy to encourage my children away from tv and computer games in favour of doing something creative like this. There are lots of tutorials on you tube that you can download to a table, and then the girls can creat truly amazing bracelets and key rings. Well worth the money. I would also high recommend not buying mixed batches of bands - just single colours, as otherwise you spend ages trying to pick out the right colour.

My 11 year old and I loved learning to use this loom!
It's super easy and lots of fun trying different designs!

Seems very well made and durable.

We spent lots of money on much more expensive presents and this is the one she played with for HOURS on Christmas day!
Like buying a 3 year old a $200 fun house and they have more fun playing with the box it came in!

This is THAT kind of toy!
Now, it's time to ACCESSORIZE and find charms and sparkly bands!
