This figure is great! Little small but well worth the price! It's well in scale to the other S.H. Monsterarts figures and comes with accesorys for Godzilla and Mechagodzilla II.
These Monster Arts toys are awesome! Fire Rodan is on of the smaller (and cheaper) ones, but it's still a very nice representation of the character. It makes the earlier, Bandai vinyl one I have look pretty sad in comparison. The articulation is great (even the wings!), as it is for the rest of the series, and it comes with great accessories, like a clear stand so it can be posed flying. And, in addition to its own energy beam, it comes with one for the previous year's Godzilla, which is the red, swirly beam that he acquires after absorbing Rodan's energy in the film. Overall, a great toy and worth every penny.
A well sculpted well painted SHMA figure. Sadly in the bright weird "Fire Rodan" version red rather than the more traditional and widely seen brown. he is a nice, yet puzzling figure. Rodan is small for the SHMA line. More in scale with the small statured Showa 1964 Godzilla then the 1994 Heisei one that he should be paired with. he is actually slightly smaller than both Revoltech Gyaos versions. he also cannot stand on his own. He comes with three different Tamashii Stage 4 stands. Each distinctly painted and cast in sparkly plastic. One supports the breath beams. And the others will support either a flying or perching cradle. The flying cradle holds the figure securely. But really stands out. The perching stand piece is more unobtrusive, but is wobbly and does not seat the figure well. Be aware that he may be a shelf diving hazard when perched.
The other items that come for him form the real reason for getting this figure. He is less a stand alone figure and more an accessory pack for the early "Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II" figures. He comes with 2 breath beam parts and a replacement damaged head for the SHMA Heisei Mechagodzilla. The beams are Fire Rodans pink plasma beam and joy of joys Godzillas orange spiral beam ultimate attack. Both are spectacular.
While Fire Rodan is not a "muct have" for a collector he certainly is a "nice to have"

Sieht gut aus und die Details sind gut ausgearbeitet. Kleines Manko: Der Kopf ist etwas lose und fällt leicht von der Figur ab, ist jedoch wieder leicht anzubringen.
