大統領に立候補したヒラリー・クリントン。
頭がよくて、計算高くて、つんけんした、いけすかない女だと思っていました。
ごめんなさい。もっと早く読むべきでした。
女性がなぜリーダーにならなくてはいけないのか。子供や弱者支援などの必要性を訴えるヒラリーに立ちはだかる壁！！！
ショックだったのは、支援されるべき人たちが搾取側の権力者についてしまう場面。
男女差別社会がアメリカにもまだまだあることがわかりました。そして、なぜ、女性リーダーが女性に嫌われるのかも。
もっと早くに読むべきでしたが、読んでよかったと思います。
ただ、後半はやや愚痴めいていて残念。やはり、勝負に出たからには勝たなければ負け犬の遠吠えになってしまいます。

Well written, but not written by Hillary Clinton.

But first it takes children. While women are intent in competing with men in the market place rather than marriage, children and home, where will the children come from, immigration? And will that solve also the labour shortage, and problems, especially in Japan, of caring for the ageing population? What will the future be if women selfishly pursue ambition instead of family and home, or, if they do have one child, expect the state to raise him or her?
This promotes state control over everyone's lives because values would not be family values but government-decided values. This appeals to people who are hungry for power, and that is good for politicians only. Secondly, two parents having only one child halves the population. This makes the problems mentioned worse, but, again, a small poulation is easier to control.
On the plus side, what is said about family values and the need for decent services to support them is common sense and the book is pleasant, appealing and beautifully presented.
It was hard for me to believe that a Clinton actually believes in marriage and family, especially in view of their support for the the militant homosexualization of society. Homosexual materials now abound in American schools, starting in elementary school, and parents who complain are legally prosecuted. There are many such horrific injustices, mainly since the Clintons were in power. See Hillary interviewed on YouTube by lesbian show host Degeneres and you will see Hillary's open support of the gay agenda. She has no objection to the complete restructuring of society by the gender bender elite, as long as she gets to power.
I could not believe this book was written by the same woman, whose life is as corrupt as her husband's.I found that indeed the book was ghost-written by Barbara Feinmann Todd as reported in Forbes magazine by Thomas Kellner 07.07.03. Clinton did not pay the writer as agreed, it is reported.
Clearly this nice bestseller, which Clinton promoted worldwide, was part of a marketing campaign to market Hillary and to raise money to finance her rise to power. The same kind of marketing, by the way, that sells radical feminism and homoism disguised as progress.
I feel sorry for those deceived people who are inspired by this book, a product of dirty politics. Family values come from families, not politicians, government beurocracies or marketeers.
