Amazing Soundtrack...A MUST HAVE!

An amazing and balanced soundtrack. Very hard to find. If you have a chance at buying this album, buy it. Henry Mancini is amongst the best and each track is nicely unique, offering different musical styles (through both voice and instrumental). The music is truly phenomenal!

Tom and Jerry: The Movie hadn't got any love from fans or critics, but the soundtrack by Henry Mancini is memorize and beautiful. Both the musical and classical-style piece are outstanding and catchy.

There are plenty of catchy tunes to enjoy here. The first half of the record contains the six character songs plus "All in How Much we Give" as a prelude. Then it moves on to the film score music. Mancini has the gift for flowing melodies, which carry over some pretty interesting chord changes like in "Friends to the End" The music fits the lyrics nicely and the vocalists aren't holding back. Reverb has been added so it doesn't sound exactly like in the movie.

I originally had this on Cassette back in the day but my cassette player garbled it up and it took forever for me to locate one on CD! I'm so glad I found it here now I can listen to songs on the go without fear of tape garbling up in the spools.
