So I was expecting a book about serious info on getting an MBA, firstly and most importantly an MBA is a tough POSTGRADUATE degree so in order to be taking it you will already be an accomplished student, this book is full of stuff you might say to a 12 year old - 'you need a good place to study'. 'you need to manage your time', when its says stuff like 'a phone point near your computer' is a good idea it is truly ridiculous, more padding is provided by telling you basic spelling and grammar, a few pointers which have some net value start half way through the book.
The first 100 pages are a total waste of time for anyone who has a moderate chance of passing an MBA - if you need a table printed so you can write down what time you might have available you have had it, if this book was pitched at kids who had failed in school and were aiming to do better as an adult I would get it but for a potential MBA student??? NEVER!!!
A POORLY FOCUSSED BOOK OF LITTLE VALUE HAS NOT BEEN RESEARCHED TO BE OF ANY REAL USE.

This book has been in the recommended 'to buy list' in my MBA course. I dont know maybe it is a good fit for newcomers or undergraduate students. Really basic stuff - if you are a mature student not the most helpfull book! I have not actually red much of it!
